The first two letters of our name.
The slopes around Çardak are steppe. We started writing letters in 2013 to make them green, and were granted the first site in 2016. Today there are four memorial forests; the largest is 6 hectares.

How it works
The Regional Forestry Directorate allocates the land; the Forest Enterprise supplies saplings and planting guidance; the association provides the people and the organisation. Planting days are announced on the site and on Facebook — townsfolk, students and members come. Maintenance for the first three years is shared with the Forest Enterprise.
The 2016 allocation took two years of correspondence. We thanked the then Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs, the Afforestation Department and the Denizli Regional Directorate at the time, and still do.
