ÇADED plants its first saplings
Site for at least 2,000 saplings allocated by the Regional Forestry Directorate, 7 March 2016 — the result of two years of correspondence.
The first two letters of our name: Çardak Reforestation. For two years we wrote letters and visited the relevant offices in person. As a result, on 7 March 2016 the Regional Forestry Directorate granted permission and allocated land in Çardak for planting at least 2,000 trees. Planting will take place as soon as possible and pictures will be shared here. We also have a promise of support for further sites. Our thanks to the Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Eroğlu, the ministry's private secretary, the head of the afforestation department, the regional afforestation director, forestry engineer Arif Bey, forest enterprise section chief Elif Hanım, and all friends who support the association.
